Use the correct reference solution
Calibrate with a fresh solution suited to the measurement type and range of your instrument. Never pour used solution back into its bottle.
Rinse between samples
Rinse the probe with clean water between tests, then gently shake off excess water. Avoid wiping sensitive glass pH electrodes.
Store the sensor correctly
Follow the product manual for storage. pH electrodes must remain hydrated with the recommended storage solution and should not be stored dry.
